Early Years at HIS: Finnish Inspired Excellence

At HIS, our Early Years program is built on the renowned Finnish Early Childhood Education model integrated with NCERT. This play-based approach fosters a love for learning while building essential skills, setting a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Our Early Years program focuses on 10 key areas of holistic learning:

  • Communication, Language, and Literacy

  • Creative Expression

  • Mathematics

  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development

  • Physical Development

  • Understanding the World

  • Science and Environmental Education

  • Ethical and Cultural Education

  • Socio-Emotional Competence

  • Verbal and Physical Expression

With trained teachers and purposefully designed spaces, both indoors and outdoors, our program ensures a nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and grow. From hands-on activities to thematic learning, our Early Years curriculum engages students in ways that empower them to think critically, collaborate effectively, and develop a deep understanding of the world around them.

As children progress, innovative tools like phonics programs are introduced to develop confident readers and writers, ensuring they transition smoothly into higher grades while maintaining independence, creativity, and a joy for learning.
